Simple Beauty

I've just finished making these sterling silver chains. There is one necklace and two bracelets made with silver wire. The necklace is about 23' long and the bracelets are about 7". Making these "Etruscan" chains require that each link to be soldered and then woven into each other. It's a very time consuming process. The beautiful simplicity gives it an elegant look.

Sauerkraut Pots and More

This spring I've been living in Boise, Idaho. My pottery has taken a little side road to the Boise Parks & Rec Center where they have a terrific art studio. I made a couple of sauerkraut pots and a couple of cookie jars along with a few bowls. It's been great meeting new people and learning new techniques.

Pottery Fresh Out of the Kiln

My latest batch of pottery from this 2017 season. I'm very pleased with the colors and how everything turned out. It's very satisfying seeing new work come out of the kiln. Feels kind of like Christmas.
